It is also unclear where he and the plant are: the room seems much brighter than what those who have seen Victor's lodgings might remember, and although the only thing visible behind him can only be described as 'shelves filled with jars filled with creepy things', it also seems larger.]

I am aware that we are in the midst of a flood, and it is by all accounts...particularly disturbing-

-but I do have a related and somewhat time sensitive request. I am hoping that those of you who have been effected by the flood might consent to a medical examination as soon as it recedes, in effort to identify any anomalies which might explain why you have been effected and others of us have not. As such, I would also welcome the similar assistance of those not effected, at your leisure, but before the flood has ended. No one is required to do this thing, but the results may aid you in the future, and I believe that samples taken as close to the end of the event as possible will be of the most use.
