[After her psychic session with Rosethorn, Jean takes about an hour to prepare what she's going to say. She needs to deliver the facts without being too detailed, too personal.
Her expression is solemn when she speaks, hands clasped on her lap.]
Most of you know that Rosethorn attacked Thomas Shelby - a good friends of hers - several days ago. It's been conclusively proven that she wasn't in her right mind.
T'Pol attacked her, mentally. She associated Tommy with violence and fear. She replaced warmth and affection with hatred and distrust. A need to protect with a need to destroy. [She's keeping her voice level, but there's an edge of bitter disappointment in it. She knows exactly how to do that, and how it feels when it's done to you.]
This is what caused her to attack. It won't happen again; we've removed every trace of T'Pol's influence. [She allows herself a weary sigh, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear.]
T'Pol is still in Zero; she was put there after attacking Bucky. Her power can't affect anyone in there. Beyond that...I don't know. She doesn't have a warden right now. I think the first step is just talking to her.

[ Brief as heck? You bet, but he's got his priorities in order. ]

I'm fine. It wasn't difficult, just...
[Her shoulders slump, a little.]
Rosethorn didn't deserve this, and I expected better of T'pol. I'm - I know Steve's disappearance was probably part of it.

[But Holy Shit, guess who is really Not Okay with literally anything that's happened here, and that honestly means he doesn't really want to touch this with a ten foot pole.]
Have you talked to Furiosa?
no subject
[Her brow furrows.] No, I - oh. [She should have put that together sooner, really.] So that makes three, then, that we know of.

[She is trying so hard to keep her voice steady, but she's so far from neutral it's almost comical. She sounds like she's barely containing a snarl - for Jean, for everyone whose reply she can see. Now everyone knows: now everyone will always remember, and she feels like a traitor to her people thrice over.
Abruptly, for the first time since she arrived, T'Pol is glad she's the only Vulcan aboard. She doesn't think she could bear to be shut out by her own.]

Both. I wanted you to know what I said.

[He's a little out of the loop, yes, but in all fairness that's not exactly uncommon. He only really has so much interest in people to spend, and hearsay isn't always the best source of information.
Still, it's a harmless enough question, and he leaves it at that, even if it's not all he has to say.]
[Private]
Do you know how what she did... works?
[He knows the ideas of hypnosis, a little, but better to know how this is meant to work, if it's something Jean is willing to share.]

Sort of. Once she has physical contact, she's able to establish a psychic rapport.

Well, I'm suspecting a specific grudge against Tommy. [Concern edged with wry frustration.]
How badly was he hurt? Were you?

Furiosa was affected, as well, but she already knew something...external had influenced her actions. [There's clear respect in her voice; many people wouldn't.] Now that I know it was T'Pol, I can reverse it.
Were you thinking of anyone else, specifically?

But it just means that T'Pol could do that again. It means that she most likely saw everything the women did to him while they were under her influenced. Being toyed with like that-
He feels sharply humiliated, deeply hurt, completely confused. It makes him reply with a voice message, because even he can't hide all of that from Jean. But he needs to talk to Jean about something, so he faces it.]
Could you- go to Furiosa? Or contact her?

We're already talking. I'm sure I can help her, too.
...I'm not going to be pushy, but are you all right? Do you need anything?
