27th Day of the Month of Wind
[This is the first and likely only time he will ever use the communicator. But this seems easier than reaching out to people individually, especially after everything. He sits in a dark corner with spectral rats, blue and wispy, crawling over his form.]
I have a name.
It was chosen for me and I willingly accepted it.
Not Sider, not a variation on the title humans gave me, but a real name. A new chapter in a book that was once closed.
Zivosky.
[And he closes the feed.]
He likes to be in his dreams. But this is different. He opens the door for him but does not play. When Chris crosses the threshold, he'll feel a burning on the back of his hand, a real burning, not something gentle from a dream, and a mark will search itself into his dream hand.
“Christopher.”
The Outsider appears in front of him, arms crossed.

[He doesn't help with the cleanup; he barely knows how to even start. But he does show up to the chapel a few times, sitting in the pews. He is usually sitting in the pews, carving little charms into bones and humming Dunwall drinking songs under his breath.
Sometimes he's on deck, his treasures (shells, rocks, seaglass, bones, teeth, coins) spread out in front of him as he uses them to string together jewelry. He always has some spectral creature with him - usually a small whale swimming around. It sings sometimes, a haunting sort of noise.]

He comes through the door without any hesitation, but when he enters he winces, frowning at his hand, currently uncovered since he doesnt wear his gloves to bed and marvels at the mark.
It glows in the dark of the Void and he touches it with his other hand curiously, can see what he sees of The Outsider emanating from it, fogging up the bright glow of his own Aether.
The word doesn't get him to lift his head, but he does respond, tracing the burned mark with a finger, "What is it?"

He gestures to him. "You can reject the gift if you wish."
no subject
"You think I'm worthy?" He sounds surprised, a little taken aback, but not suspicious. He's trying to keep himself from smiling, because he feels like joy isn't quite the mark of where his heart is. He isn't sure he knows what to call this.
"No, I...I want to keep it." He looks down at his hands again, holding it out like one might look at a fresh set of nails, admiring it.
no subject
He summons a mist that envelops them both, like the Void sweeping in closer to them.
"I'm sure you can find a use for them."

Nokov crouches down, so he can look over what's spread in front of Zivosky.
Re: spam
"It is no wonder humans are so busy. Linear time is an unfortunate thing."
He's bored. Boredom is new. Making trinkets at least fills the hours.
Re: spam
"We're also contained."
He has little capacity for boredom in general. When he can be what he is then there's no rush to fill his hours. He can be impatient (however good he is at restraining that), yes, but that's not because he's bored.
The Barge, on the other hand, is limited enough (and the Admiral's limits are enough) that he can get bored.
"What's that?"
Re: spam
He sets a string and some of the tokens in front of him. "They make interesting patterns."

Are those rats?
no subject
Are you unfamiliar with them?
[These are vaguely blue and wispy, made of fog and voidstuff, but they are also real. Simply unable to harm.]
no subject
I am familiar with the concept of rats? A mouse, but larger?
Are they ... ghosts?

[As a person with a Weird Name Situation, it feels like the least she could do.]
no subject
Why?
no subject
Deciding on a new name is like...a big deal? Or it is for my culture, anyway. So, like, good for you.
