Simon isn't wearing pajamas, though, in his defense, he hadn't seen the video so he didn't see any rules against dressing like he's walked off the stage after a community theater's performance of The Great Gatsby. He's just been attracted by the sight of a busy common room. He'd drawn to the idea of company, especially during the barge night, as even though he knows the changes are artificial he still finds that he tends towards nocturnal.

He finds a place to sit on the abundance of cushions, with a friendly smile for everyone. He has absolutely no idea what's going on, but he doesn't believe in letting that stop him.

He smiles at her. "For the sake of honesty, I have to put myself down as soap-opera-curious. I have heard mention of the existence of such, and finally I have a chance to witness with my own eyes what I've only heard of secondhand." He tilts a hand. "Usually more third or fourth hand. I don't know many people who've come around to television." And, despite how he's dressed, not because of the year.
