Trevor Belmont has confessed that he has been making gunpowder. You can see from the charcoal in his nails. I wouldn't be worried about that in particular, if, however for two things:
Trevor has been looking for how the piping system works in the Barge. and Clement Varker, who has an extensive history, knowledge, and experience in chemistry, as well as an increased sense of smell...
Believes that Trevor has been creating bombs on board. I do not know where he is keeping supplies. I don't know where he has been planting them if anywhere.
But I know this is not something he is hiding. Please. Be careful everyone.

[Oscar, though normally set by routine, has changed it. He can be seen wandering throughout the Barge. He can be seen checking the chapel for anything out of the ordinary, for prayer. His expression is troubled, uncertain, and at times he sits in a common room lost in thought.]

Figures it's Trevor doing it.
Don't suppose you convinced him to stop, didja? He ain't gonna listen to me. He hates me.

[ Trevor making gunpowder is about the same as Trevor admitting to collecting knives. By itself, it doesn't seem out of place. But with Varker's additions and what's already been observed or found... ]

Had half an eye on him since Florian went home but I can't be everywhere at once. Not like he's been making a secret of being a fucking idiot this entire time. I've been collecting a lot of lighters that I think probably belong to him, out of the common rooms.
[Honestly.]
Got to be a way to keep better tabs on him. Wouldn't normally suggest it but for all my bitching about this fucking ship I'm still living on it right now. Got an interest in keeping it in one piece.
Re: video; filtered
[Well this is a problem.]
I don't know if we can depend on his warden for this, but I'm biased against the man. I'll admit it.

We should move in groups until we get this under control, with at least one healer or protector.
I don't know if the Barge herself can be warded or reinforced, it might be worth asking the Admiral about.
Did Trevor say anything else?
Re: Warden Filter
How many are those around? I don't know anything about magic and I am...mundane.
[And one armed.]
Trevor did not disagree with the bombs existence. He didn't say when it would happen- blowing up the Barge. But he might be delayed, or going to the infirmary, if he hasn't already.
His arm was dislocated. It might slow him down.

[ Better he focus on that than the part where they inevitably fight Trevor. He doesn't trust himself there. ]
I've also already messaged Shaw about this, but I was thinking we could set up an emergency protocol to shift the infirmary if it gets attacked. Since it looks like the plumbing could be targeted, it's unlikely but possible something gets through there.

Then again, he doesn't view me as a person, so perhaps someone else could appeal to him.

He's been putting them in the pots in Counseling, too. Malcolm caught him at it in the middle of the night.
We can sniff them out, now that we know he's doing it. Should I start doing nightly patrols?

Re: filter
I imagine others have talked to the Admiral, with similar results. Not sure about the Barge herself, though.

Let's think outside the box a little.
Have we got any magic users willing to do a spell on him of 'throws a couple generally harmless sparks from his hands every thirty seconds?' Gloveproof somehow.
[He waves a hand.]
That would certainly make incendiary manufacturing more inconvenient.

Or I don't. If you want a long term curse that makes it so he simply cannot work with his hands to make the damn things...
I can do that. Or a number of other curses that I can stack on top of him until he can't move without tripping over himself.
[She doesn't sound sheepish. She doesn't sound angry. Just matter of fact.]
You want me to take away his ability to be the unstoppable killing machine on top of that? Easy enough.

I... might be able to help. In regards to reaching Trevor. We're not close but... I might be able to profile him. Ask... a version of him questions that wouldn't necessarily aggravate the actual man.
I'd need some help, though. People who know him better. Who'd know what to ask.

It should be pretty easy to whip up something that scans for gunpowder's chemical makeup, but with the Barge being all... wibbly-wobbly, I don't know if I could make it scan the whole ship at once? But it might help even if it's just short range?
