Thirty-fifth Poem

When it rains, it fucking pours.

Iris Wildthyme is in a coma. I have access to her cabin if anyone who doesn't wants to leave notes or presents or draw on her. She won't mind. Just leave me some canvas to work with, please. I owe her poetry; she always draws on me during my comas.

I also snagged the recipe for her death toll soup. I don't know who needs it, but I'll make a batch to deliver upon request.

How would you feel about bringing your guitar and keeping me company at Iris's for awhile? I think she'd like that. [Maggie might even record a little of Fitz's playing so Iris can listen later.]

I feel pretty good about that. [Music isn't the cure to all ills, but he feels it's a good one for the heart.]

Not long after she got back from checking on Lark after he vanished, I think. That would explain why she didn't call me or come by to see me; it's why I went over to check.

Sebastian caught up with us, by the way. Malcolm and I. We only survived thanks to Wu Xin. I expected this from Sebastian at some point- but after a couple of years of Barge life, even I lose my vigilance.

I did bite him. It was short-lived but satisfying. We're both healed up now. John helped us out.
