Weird ask, but if anyone finds anything they think is active decomposition, can you ping me?

There is no macroscopic life on this ship. Not a spider in the walls, nothing like a fruit fly, nothing in the plumbing or carpets.

Whoever this all belonged to could just keep a freakishly clean ship, but that's beyond difficult with this much space.

Plus side, we can know we're not bringing back any bedbugs.

I know the current precautions are for pathogens, but if the facility's been sterilized down to the level of insects, it makes me wonder if they were running some kind of weapons research, and it went very wrong.

I've never tried to see if I can feel if a shrimp gets infected with something, and that is clearly a lapse on my part. Take ones you're not attached to, I'm not bringing anything living back from here.

Macroscopic is large enough to see with the naked human eye, microscopic is too small. Macro-large, micro-small. My powers historically don't work on what's too small for me to see.

I see. So if the place is infested, it's with something too small to be perceived.

I am not sure what that means, but that does sound strange to have a place so devoid of life.

Are there plants? How about living rocks?

I haven't seen any plants or- living rocks, but I haven't been doing an in-depth search visually.
