For anyone curious about my previous posting, the work on that project continues. Another project has come to the point where I feel open to testing for any interested parties.

There is a matter of some delicacy I'd like to ask you about if you have a moment. Specifically about your physical health.

[ The Enclosure has been set up to resemble, of all things, the inside of the cruise ship that they had to escape some months ago, complete with rubble and bent metal and broken flooring and jutting rock and of course, water. Florian will hold up what looks like a leather work glove.]

This is my latest device. It is for assisting in emergencies, such as the one we faced some months past. What it does is the following.

[ And he will slip the glove on then, and once his fingers are set and he squeezes his hand into a light fist, a glowing green spectral hand the size of a large person appears in the air. ]

My main concerns are regarding use time given the energy requirements and, frankly, how useful they'll be in general in such a situation. I've generated ~~as many as needed~~ the gloves with a few different parameters here in the Enclosure to test some ideas for different features so pick one up from the table to the left and please provide your feedback.

Please note that there are some dummies scattered in among the wreckage, to simulate the people we'd be trying to assist. Once we begin, they'll start making noise for you to find and assist them; if they stop making that noise, it is because something you've done has injured them in a way that would probably render them unable to speak. For safety, I would prefer you work in pairs if you are at all vulnerable to such things personally. Now, unless there are any questions?

[ ooc: do the gloves phase through walls somewhat to allow for tight spaces? How big are the hands really? How strong? How long do they last? Can you use two at a time? How easy it is to see through the translucent green with limited visibility? Do they glow to illuminate the area? Feel free to make up limitations or ideas for features, things that worked, things that didn't work, etc. Also feel free to treat it like a mingle, have multiple 'duos' etc. with different gloves and we can thread or summarize your character's feedback on Florian's top level for it!]

[ Otherwise, Florian can be found in his usual spots: his cabin during the day and the cybernetics area, the library, and the deck otherwise, with the occasional jaunt to the lounge (which he still wishes was the speakeasy some days but alas, that is no longer a place for him). Feel free to find him there or in between in the hallways as you wish. ]

[Sweeney is ready to help however he can, happy to give feedback and problem-solve as needed. He's also eager to learn what he can from Florian's experience to be able to use the ideas in future applications. As always, he's appreciative for Florian's patience with his questions. And he's pretty much over the vampire thing.]

I've noticed, of late, that there have been periods where your heartrate suddenly shoots up for a period of some minutes.

Hearts, generally, do not do such a thing. So I was wondering if you had noticed and if you'd sought any medical expertise on the subject.

Is it a tendency you already know about and are actively looking after yourself?
