The Admiral has seen fit to restore some of my abilities to me, including my ability to sense and track individuals by their energies. He has stipulated, however, that I will only be able to sense the energy of those who choose to allow it, so kindly respond here if you wish for me to be able to find you wherever you are on the ship.

For those for whom it might affect your answer; I have also had my ability to teleport restored, which would allow me to teleport directly to anyone whose energy signature I can sense. This would have been quite useful for rescuing those trapped in the recent fire.

Xie Lian chose a selection of my powers which he considered non-threatening and most likely to be approved by the Admiral to include in his request. I have thus far had my ability to teleport, supply you with dark energy, didi, create dark energy shields, and sense the energies only of those who agree to it restored to me. He will consider making a further request before our pairing is dissolved, but thought it best not to ask too much at once, at the risk of having it all denied.

I am being intermittently replaced by a child of my people, Zheng Yi. She is a good child, and has suffered a great deal in her short life. I would appreciate it if those of you I am contacting could keep an eye out for her and keep her from harm or distress insofar as possible. Be aware, however, that should she be threatened she does have the power to protect herself and... perhaps not quite the fine control to avoid harm to innocent bystanders in the process. Please do not hold this against her.

She's all of nine years old, or possibly ten, bright-eyed and curious and much more confident than might be expected. The latter is mostly due to knowing that her stay here is only temporary and she will be returned to her Xiao gege soon, and that she is here in Hei Pao Shi daren's place.

So she chooses to view it as an adventure, and you can find her poking around virtually every part of the barge open to her, and trying to get into some that aren't, such as the Lounge and the Enclosure. She also does a great deal of staring at all of these strange looking people, with their odd skin tones and hair colors and eye shapes and accents: she's been exposed to almost no Western media, given her late step-father's embarrassment at her 'disability' and the chaos since his death, and so it's all very new and strange.

The deck and its view of millions upon millions of stars she's never seen before catches her attention beyond anyplace else on the ship, and she spends a great deal of time standing on the second rail so she's up high enough to lean slightly over the edge and just stare in awe and wonder. The greenouse is also fascinating to a little girl who was never given any freedom to explore until recently, and she wanders the paths, sniffing flowers and examining fruits and vegetables and bugs with equal interest, or lying in the grass looking up into the trees, and to the stars above and beyond them.

Her voice, when she speaks, is very quiet and careful and slow: she's only recently developed any control over the power of her voice, and she doesn't want to accidentally cause harm that might disappoint Hei Pao Shi daren after he bent the laws of the Guardian Treaty to allow her to remain above ground with her gege. She's eager to talk to people, however, and ask questions, and learn everything she can.
