[The face is young, and in this timeline looks young, if a bit more hard done by. Is a clearly repeatedly-broken nose with a smile a good trade for one janky finger and a constant cringe of exhausted terror? In a cabin full of battered, aged metal with its exact purpose hard to pin down, he leans back unwisely in a chair and shuffles a pack of cards with inscrutable symbols on them.]
Today's lesson, my friends, is bottom dealing without being too damn obvious about it.
[The shuffle is skillful and showy, itself probably a distraction.]
Refer to previous lessons in stacking the deck, unless this is a much longer con, or getting run out of bars is your hobby, I'm not judging. Good cardio. Now, if you're playing with decent card sharks, this is a waste of your time, stick to card counting, but we're talking about fools and their money and preferably not a boot up your ass. And don't give yourself a perfect hand every time. Dipshit. Now, here's the trick. Going slow so you can see it.
[And so goes the cheating tutorial.]
[Spam]
[Bodhi pops up in the bar all the time, occasionally in the casino, delighted by all the shiny apparatus for gambling without money, practicing new tricks and occasionally maybe taking something apart to figure out how to rig it, because he lacks impulse control. He completely ignores his custodial work, but is happy to carry a broom around while he pesters people. His obnoxious cheer isn't usually undirected, though. He drags Freeza after him everywhere he can, trying to give the boss the kick in the tail he needs for this reform stuff.]

You're damn good at that. But, unfortunately, of little use in most of my circumstances. The ones I'm up against know every trick already.

I hope you know how to put it back together, [ he muses, eyebrow raised as he gives the broken machine a once-over. ] I doubt people would enjoy something in multiple pieces.

You may not know this, but I am quite petty.

Too late by light years. I ran my first shell game when I still had a lisp.
