This is your catch-all network mingle for the open walkie-talkie channel! Go nuts, but keep the following guidelines in mind:
1. Everyone who doesn't wake up feral from the get-go - that is, everyone who wakes up at the research station or somewhere on the road - will wake up with a walkie-talkie on them.
2. The walkie-talkies are audio only - no text or video to be found here.
3. All messages are received in real-time, with no options for playback.
4. All messages are public by default, and will be received by absolutely every device, unless a character manually turns their device off.
5. Private calls are possible, but to start one, one must know the four-digit code that's printed on the back of the device they wish to call. Please take private calls to an inbox!
6. All audio will be choppy and static-y - sometimes just enough to be kind of a pain, and sometimes enough to kshkshkshkshksh out pertinent information or render a message unintelligible. How much this impedes your character's communication and whether the results are disastrous or merely annoying is entirely up to you!

after the first call
[Between the static, the wind, and an awful lot of American accents on the Barge, Norton is having a difficult time places voices. Assuming it is someone from the ship and not a local.]
