Something came up in the WIKTT chat that I did want to touch upon. I think everyone knows I do volunteer as an administrator at Sycophant Hex. So if you have a question or concern, I am available. I don't get mad at questions and I'll try to explain everything I can. If there's a problem that can be fixed, we really do want to fix it. And if you have a possible solution, let us know. If you don't feel you can talk to me about it, there is someone available. Pick your favorite administrator.

I know I have a lot of catching up to do. :-) As many of you all have guessed, I've been very busy and semi-sick (as usual). But right now, I am so very excited. You got it! That is the segue into the cut.

wartcap made a comment in a Yahoo group that her latest chapter probably wouldn't be validated at Ashwinder until July. Now I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Ashwinder has been kepted pretty current lately... we've all worked very hard to keep it current. As an apology, wartcap sent out the following:

Big Emphatic Thank You!

I don't have the complete list, but I have to say thank you for all the wonderful postcards and cards sentto Mom! She is thrilled beyond belief. I'll be printing the list up in the next day or so and give every one the individual thank yous you deserve, because you all are the most terrific, bighearted people ever!

Mom has been racing me to the mailbox and she usually wins because she hits me with her cane.

She received a dozen huge apricot roses from David and me. We'll also be getting her dinner at the restaurant of her choice. I would have done that tonight, but in last 24 hours, a kidney stone has decided to make my life a living hell.

If anyone has noticed, SH is pretty well current. jackiejlh has been working like an absolute demon. So if you upload, if you read, if you know what SH is, Jackie has done an extraordinary amount of work recently.

And finally, I did something I never thought I would do. I wrote a story that's kind of slashy. I can't describe it except to apologize. It's called The Misadventures of Polyjuice Potion.

I'm curling back up on my heating pad now with a variety of liquid refreshment. I remember my pastor once told me the greatest words in the Bible concerning kidney stones -- "This too shall pass." Please, let him be right. I hope everyone has a terrific weekend! And thank you again!
