Safely home from Vividcon

We made it safely to Minneapolis last night after a long and fun weekend.

It was a very good VVC for me, despite the near complete lack of any of the things I'm currently (mildly) fannish about, name The Eagle of the Ninth and White Collar (although more discussions of the former than I'd have expected!)  I'm delighted my body cooperated and actually let me spend time with people for the first time in three or four years (note to self: having dinner with folks BEFORE doing vid setup Thursday is definitely the way to go.)  Not having  vid in Premieres continues to be a good choice (on top of all the other Premieres issues faced by all those submitting, it's even more awkward when trying to arrange the show.)

{{{{VVC}}}

lastly, I give you llamas:

Ah, we have the same fannish interests, although I am not sure i could say mildly about mine. I suspect, from previous talk years ago and bits of things I've seen on your blogs over the years, that we could have an interesting discussion about what draws us to these shows (or books) and why. If we are ever in the same hotel I'd like to do that. Are you going to WorldCon? it is, after all, in Chicago.

I missed spending time with you! But am planning a visit to Your Town in April as part of the Nonprofit Technology Conference -- will send details when I have them.

WOW, I had no idea llamas could be so vicious! They seem so placid. LOL I did like the way that guy was nuzzling with his friend.
