Just wanted to report on what I tried- Lancome Juicy Tubes vs. L'oreal Colour Juices ($15.50 vs. around $9, both in .5 oz tubes) I have to say, I still prefer the Juicy Tubes- I like the slanted applicator much better, and the color selection. It also seems glossier and more long-lasting. The Colour Juice tube is shaped like a Vaseline Lip Therapy tube...and feels really cheap. The hole where the product comes out is a lot smaller, so you have to squeeze a lot to cover your lips. If you're looking for another alternative to Lancome's discontinued Strawberry Glaze color, L'oreal's Colour Juice in "Watermelon Crush" is almost a dead-on colour match. And L'oreal's "Strawberry Smoothie" is almost a mirror image 9in color) of Lancome's JT "Simmer" (not discontinued).
Hey everyone This is (apparently) the first post in the "lancomemakeup" community. The community info basically says all I have to say- just talk about something even distinctly related to Lancome and we'll be doing pretty well, I'd say.
So I'll start with my little gripe. The "Lychee" flavor Juicy Tube is only available in the European collection, but seeing as how I am not currently residing anywhere where the Europen collection would be available to me, I am stuck without it. Or I guess I could buy a plane ticket to Europe... I just hope that it won't have retired by then :(
