I am the Manager of the store i work at now. And I had a day that i took off and went to edmonton...is it considered hooky when your boss tells you "have fun"
I had to let go of my sister inlaw yesterday because she has worked going on 3 months and yet to have a full 2 weeks of work cuz shes been sick alot, last week she called me to tell me she has strep throat and cant come in for at least 3 days so i also gave her the weekend off, she did a no show yesterday and didnt answer any of my phone calls, my husband called her and she called me right back, and told me "I couldnt make it in even if it was a later shift" ...
then my father inlaw tells me I played hooky and i shouldnt get caught

Grandparents are a lady and a man who have no little children of her own. They like other people's.
A grandfather is a man & a grandmother is a lady!
Gandparents don't have to do anything except be there when we come to see them. They are so old they shouldn't play hard or run. It is good if they drive us to the shops and give us money.
When they take us for walks, they slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars.
They show us and talk to us about the color of the flowers and also why we shouldn't step on "cracks."
They don't say, "Hurry up."
Usually grandmothers are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes.
They wear glasses and funny underwear.
They can take their teeth and gums out.
Grandparents don't have to be smart.
They have to answer questions like "why isn't God married?" and "How come dogs chase cats?".
When they read to us, they don't skip. They don't mind if we ask for the same story over again.
Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if you don't have television because they are the only grown ups who like to spend time with us.
They know we should have snack-time before bedtime and they say prayers with us every time and kiss us even when we've acted bad.

GRANDPA IS THE SMARTEST MAN ON EARTH! HE TEACHES ME GOOD THINGS BUT I DON'T GET TO SEE HIM ENOUGH TO GET AS SMART AS HIM!

anyways i'm at work and bored as per usual...I have 20 minutes till i call alyssa to cover my last break...I am bored!!! lmao i finished doing what was left for me to do, and its SO EASY! but i like it alot, my husband thinks i dont but i do. I am hoping that i will be a full time employee to the office cuz i like it alot. but i will be working as cashier and 1 night a week in the office..kinda sucks. I have the whole weekend off this weekend, but i told them i had a wedding to go to...which is semi true cuz daves sister is getting married...cept in ontario LOL...i told them there is like 2 weddings happening this weekend and i want the weekend off...and they gave it to me off! woot...i'm spoiled i guess...i got to tell sue tho that i want 2 days off in a row cuz i dont like having 2 days off seperate cuz it feels like i'm not having days off.

I am sick...being sick and hurting bad sucks donkeys ass...My amune system is low cuz of the lack of sleep i am having since i have been hurt...and i was watching my nephews for a couple of days and 2 out of 4 were pretty sick I caught it from them... which is ok cuz i was taking care of them... I might end up cancilling my physio appointment cuz of my sickness but i'm not sure yet...we'll see
dr,wcb and physio says i can return to work...but i cant lift anything, carry anything, or climb ladders they want me to do desk work...i will have to call my work today to see if they have any desk work...if not i will have to return to my dr and let him know. i am able to take physio till end of this month, if i'm still not good then i have to go to CBI:| they suck cuz they work youo for 4 hours a day and make you feel worse then physio loool
