I've managed to borrow a friends computer today while at moment fighting a horrid plague caught at DCon and while watching das lil one while static_eddie is off at a business type meeting at Turner, so have a lil bit of time to try and catch up on somethings online and try to cut and paste the word doc of my birth story (which took me on and off a month to write between baby, and other life things)
I apologize for it's lengthy size but felt I shouldn't try and cut things out to make it short being what it is.And in some ways feel I still left out somethings and could keep writing.
Eventually I'll get to work on part two on the week following the birth and the stressful time in the Children's Hospital with her.
Also eventually and maybe even today before I leave Atlanta and still have access to a friends online will write up a DCon entry and pix maybe.. we shall see though, still sad about loosing over half my Friday night of con pix and all the good Abney park shots and videos.. trying not to mourn it though...,Anyway first things first.

After much long awaited arrival (she was only a lil late:p, but really just on time in her own time)
Miss Aurora Solstice Eve Adams finally made her appearance to the world.


Born July 14th 08 @ 11:49am- 8 pounds and 1 once and 21 inches of utter pixi cuteness.




30 hours of all natural labor 29 of it spent laboring at home, 1 hour I think spent birthing at the hospital (not my original want but due to certain last minute circumstances)

And now slowly making the transition from pregnant to motherhood.... and adjusting to all that has transpired event wise (some good some not) and just getting into mommy mode and getting lil girl and us set in an ok routine.. sleep finally came after 3 days, but still broken.


Eventually when real time permits I'll be working on the birth story (it's a long one but so much worth noting once I put all of it together)

Every year I try to vote, pimp and promote when I see a friend do these types of competitions for the first time. Last year I did the same thing for a locale Atl friend, this year I'm doing it for a online friend.

There's some stiff and very lovely competition this year, some that have been before, but this is her first time and it be really keen if she got to go:)

I post an pimp both in the hopes that many of you can join us and to attend what appears may be a really awesome and not typical art gallery shing-ding. This is also my guys 2nd show (and hopefully can get him into more:)
I sadly wasn't able to get it together in time or funds to do it myself, maybe next time, have some other shows planned and in the works to show and attend at.
Still come out come out if your in Atlanta, I'll be there in my spooky finest (I might even wear a costume costume:P)

I'm going in a bit to go see the sneak premier of the new Harry Potter Movie with das static_eddie...
Already got my wrist band (got it on the way from work a hour or so ago)
No lines for me hah!

I'm sure it's bad now.. will be heading up there in a bit to hang and hopefully no real long line for seating.
But atleast the panic of getting the wrist bands for entry is not concern now, and it's nice to be practicly be walking distance from the theater.
Anyone else going to the 7pm showing at the Midtown theater?

Looks so neat and pretty!!! They are coming in June to Atlanta!
I just joined the Cirque ticket club, so hopefully I can get special offers and discount on tix.
Hmm I know a certain Gemini who's birthday is kinda near those dates....
Gotta figure out moving finances and other things first before I can seriously think of purchasing but still....

Ok I've gotten desperate here and realized I don't have the current time or technology savvy to work on this lil music project and get the track to my performance troop leader before this Friday to put on our frolicon performance track list cd. I've spent over 3 hours trying to figure out a supposedly simple freeware music program editor that lets you mesh two songs together and other lil edits, and I can't for the life of me get it to do what I want or figure it out. So I am in much need of some assistance or more tech savvy inclined people then myself to help me with this lil project.
Anyone on my friend list has a decent music editor that mixes and meshes songs together seamlessly?

I'm trying to take 2 different songs and make it into one that flows into the next but ends up as only one track and under 6 minutes shooting for 5 actually.
I’ve figured out where I want each individual track to start and what timing I want it to end and flow into the next and the 2nd end, but like I said I can't figure out the program or how to do this properly.
So wondering if there is anyone more experienced with such and if I can email my track to them, and with my notes and maybe can edit for me before Friday?
I'll work off a trade of some sort for the time and effort.
