OK, I'm a very friendly person. I tend to be an open book. The kind that always tries to have a smile on my face for everybody. My friends and family and their well-being is extremely important to me. I like to giggle. I love hugs. I am awed by musicians.

I married the most incredible guy on May 24, 2008. I write about J. often on my LJ. He has this magical way of making me happy even when I am stressed out and being a drama queen. I will always be thankful to kittarina for being our yenta.

On August 26, 2009 I became a mommy. My son Evan is awesome. Definitely my pride and joy. I'm fairly sure the majority of my posts will be about him from now on.

Specifically biographical stuff - I was born and raised on LI, NY. I'm proud to be from NY and from Long Island. I was raised and still consider myself to be Catholic. My parents are still married. I have a brother who is a year younger than I am and a sister that is 7 years younger than I am. They have both married wonderful people and on March 5, 2008 my sister gave birth to a beautiful baby boy that they named Benjamin. I am the oldest of 23 grandchildren on one side of the family and 6 grandchildren on the other. I went to Siena College where I got a BS in Biology. I moved to CA in January of 1997 and moved back to NY in time for Christmas 1999. I moved to CT in July of 2001. I work for a Pharmaceutical company in Data Management.

My favorite color is green. I eat meat. I am fairly liberal. I'm involved in two sort of medieval/renaissance groups. I like doing memes. I don't smoke. I do drink. I dislike driving. etc. etc. etc.

I am proud to say that my son never got a drop of formula. This ribbon is to signify nursing my son for a year. We're still going strong though! The second ribbon is TWO YEARS! We did it!
