What music do you normally listen to when you cook?
some of my favorite cooking music comes from various gialli, italian romance and comedies i’ve seen throughout the years. armando trovajoli, giorgio gaslini (profondo rosso <3 this one is kind of weird because most of the score is genuinely creepy and tense prog rock but i love it whateverrr, death dies is perfect), ennio morricone, bruno nicolai (the case of the bloody iris is one of my favorite blu rays i have, just insanely good music). i also really really love chicago blues especially where harmonica is the base or leading instrument, it’s my favorite kind of blues too. walter horton, james cotton, junior wells, robert nighthawk, koko taylor, big mama thornton (not chicago blues but an incredible self-taught harmonica player, singer and overall performer, just look up any of her live performances) and much more, but i am picky because cooking is relaxing enough as it is so i want music that feels like a natural continuation of the relaxation, whatever relaxation means to me in that given moment. euro/italo disco and similar synth-driven music is incredibly fun too, i love amanda lear, cicciolina, miss rettore of course. those are just some examples, sometimes i can’t listen to a thing :)
