Amnesty! Round 1: Art: Rock the Vote

Promt found on here in our comm [community profile] kradamadness . I've been thinking of this story since I saw it and while I'm personally not going to be able to make that story come to fruition (and very much hopes someone else will) I did want to give it a bit of life and recognition for being so awesome. There's so much to be explored in a world like this. My head cannon has Adam running as President after a sucessful run as Govenor of California; Alison is his chosen Vice President (despite her age), Brad is his lobbist, and Kris is his hard working ... well, everything. So, thanks for looking and for the hope that someone writes this, the original prmpt looks a little more like this:

Adam is the much loved, eccentric and radical Governor of California who's running for the presidential seat and Kris is his loyal but often exasperated secretary-turn-campaign manager. Between keeping Adam in line (and in his pants) and making sure Adam doesn't try to secede California (again), Kris got his hands full so he really doesn't need people calling and crying to him at 3AM in the morning because Adam had just punched the Senator of New York.

But it isn't because Kris thinks Adam couldn't win; no, he thinks Adam really could do anything if he put his mind to it, even as he moon the whole world. For all Adam's faults he is really something when he get behind the platform and have several thousands people cheering him on. It's mesmerizing and a performance to behold and only Adam could turn a speech into something right out of a rock concert and Kris is maybe a little bit in love with him that.

When I first saw that prompt, this truly disturbing grin crossed my face and I began to really, really hope that someone would write this. I can imagine so many hijacks and awesome situations! Adam being totally unapologetic and causing international news reporters to gasm with joy (and Kris to reach for the stomach medicine) would be so, so amazing to read about. This is a wonderful addition to that, where my mental Adam-and-Allison totally drag Kris everywhere, not to mention feature him in all their official pictures, press releaes, and other stuff (despite Kris' increasingly weak protests about I'm only the manager, I shouldn't be in this). Also, dCook is now a snarky election reporter who's so very amused by this whole thing, and does this whole smirk-and-extend-sarcastic-and-deadpan-sympathies to Kris thing that Adam and Allison thinks is hilarious. So they drag him along to be their official...news-releaser or whatever. Then on the campaign bus, they jam to awesome music and somehow some sneaky paparazzi leaked it, so now they're all official rock stars.

Or something. Can you tell I totally thought way too much about this? XD
