I wanted to contribute something to the comm that wasn't fic. Unfortunately I can't bake (at least nothing that would fit here), sorry

jerakeen.

What I can do is cross-stitch. So I went looking for inspiration and found the amazing art by

dun. She was sweet enough to let me play in her sandbox and this is the result:

akjshdf Hearts. In my eyes. ♥ This is fantastic, so cute and omg all the teeny stitches! (I've never tried cross-stitching, I think it would drive me crazy, I'm in awe of your patience and precision!) I think Adam's eyeshadow is my favourite detail here.

I used one of those programs that turn pictures into patterns and then ignored it half the time, lol. No, really, I couldn't have done it free hand. But I had a great time with it and I think it turned out okay.

I used MacStitch, well, a demo. It doesn't allow you to print but I took screencaps and printed them.

Basically, I just wrote 'convert pic into cross-stitch pattern' on Google and went through the results until I found a program that fit. There are several; more for Windows, I think.

It's super easy and you can use any pic, it doesn't have to be a drawing.

omg so friggin' cute!!! I tried to cross-stich a chibi-Monkey for my mom once (she's monkey by chinese zodiac) but gave up after a couple of days yielded very little result. It's harder that it looks and I have mad respect for your talent and your patience!!!

I know what you mean, I would sit down with it thinking today I'm doing Kris' jeans and two hours later I'd get up and have only a leg. It is slow-going, but I enjoy it a lot.
