new normalize loving parents posting trend that i keep seeing going around twitter is "as an autistic person, i hate when people talk too long about a topic and don't consider what the other person is thinking" like yeah that's called infodumping? and it's a very common aspect of how autistics communicate that is very heavily stigmatized and if someone is doing it to you for a long time, it's probably a sign that they care about you a lot and trust that you want to hear about their interests?? like you are not breaking any new grounds or saying the hard truth by stating you find it annoying. fuck off

like actually i think you are a huge piece of shit for letting this person talk to you about this for THREE HOURS and not like. i don't know, telling them you wanted to stop?? i understand communication is hard but to just silently take it and then slink off to twitter and vaguepost about how awful it was for you. take some fucking responsibility for once

personally, that's just my opinion, but if my friend trusts me and is excitedly talking to me about their interest for 3 hours, i'm happy they're happy. maybe it's just me.

just as a reminder to all, the real Quileute tribe was not consulted whatsoever on the twilight series and had a lot of their culture just fully lied about & made up, which is not a remotely harmless act. you should donate to fund their cultural preservation and moving of vital centers out of tsunami zones! i try to throw in a few bucks any time i watch any twilight related media.

"But we need good men like you to promote healthy masculinity!" <- None of these are reasons not to transition. Transition is for you, not for others. Other peoples' indignation or sadness over your transition is not your burden to bear, and other peoples' expectations for you are not moral obligations you must fulfill. Do not live to fit inside a prescribed role in somebody else's life. You must live for yourself. Please transition.
