Remember: Things could always be worse.

I like to consider myself a burgeoning author, but that's sort of a misnomer. You actually have to have the potentional of being published to be burgeoning, and the only way you can be sure you do is by proving it by getting published. But once you're published, you're no longer really burgeoning, are you? So that's sort of a paradox that I'm working on at the moment.

Most of the folks who make it to my friends-list are writer folks as well, and seeing them go through the process themselves is unbelievably helpful. That, and they're really amusing.

There's no rhyme or reason to my posts... they range from earworms to political rants to writing theories, so expect just about anything.
