I'm allergy-ing right now. it's not that cool, but i think i'll live.
i'm kinda wigging out about the whole process of graduating. well, not graduating, but preparing for my senoir show. we're all kinda flying by the seat of our pants in that class. i'll be showing with only two other girls. i'll be the only photographer, they are painting / sculpture people. sharing with only two other people means i'll be able to put up a lot of work. so far, i've got about 30 images that will possibly be hung. i'm not excited about matting and framing 30 pieces though... i also have to think about making invitations for the opening as well. oh god, and food for the opening too.
the opening will be sunday, april 15th. probably from 2-5pm.
i'm enjoying my intership at City Arts Center still. right now there is a Pop Surealism show up. it's very cool. i got to hang some of it. :D
my ears hurt from sinus presure.
okay well, that's about it i guess. i hope everyone is having a good start to spring and not sneezing their heads off!
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Tyler and I had a pretty good one. :) We went out to eat at Sophabella's and then came home to shnuggle by the fire. It was so pretty last night while it snowed. I think the thing I liked the most was watching the snow blow and swirl on the streets while we were driving.
Tyler and I went to Ardmore Monday evening to take some stuff to my parents. My parents fed us while we were there and we stayed a while to chat. We didn't leave until my mother told us it was her bedtime. So we scooted. It was very foggy that day on the way to Ardmore and on the way back it was even worse... When we reached Pauls Valley, it started poiring down rain in addition to the fog! We stopped in Pauls Valley for a little bit, but then got back on the road. It was pretty scary for a while!
Well, I thought I'd just type a little something before work. I haven't updated in a while... I'm so bad! I'm sorry! Well, I've got to get ready now. I hope everyone is doing well and keeping warm!
i went to the fair! i ate a giant turkey leg! i had fresh squeezed lemonade! i ate hot wissconsin fried cheese! i bought a knicky-knacky vase! i saw goats! i looked at concept cars! i saw some newly designed mailbox with a trapdoor! i ate funnel cake! i heard people sing karaoke (badly)! i wanted to ride rides (but didn't...booo!) i saw people i knew! i walked through the midway! i saw moo cows! i got blown away by the wind!
but of all the cool things i did at the fair... by far the best was...

wow life sucks without internet!! i don't know how i ever survived before i got it. our internet was out for about a week and i nearly cried. but it finally came back yesterday. one desperate day without internet sent me and my laptop to the local library so i could check my email and online banking stuff.
guess what? i taught myself to crochet (again). several years ago, an RA at walker (Carrie) showed me how to crochet, but i didn't really "get it." so i got a couple good books with good pictures and sat down with some yarn and a hook and now i'm a happy hooker. some people equate crochet with pirates and knitting with ninjas... always in that epic battle of which is cooler... but honestly, i like both pirates AND ninjas. both are awesome for different reasons. and that's also how i feel about crochet and knitting.
i made a baby hat in AN HOUR!! can you believe that? i even had to rip it out and start over close to finishing...! crochet is so damn fast...
school starts again soon. i'll be taking one (1) class this semester and doing the whole "part-time" thing.
work is still pretty much awesome, although slow days get a little boring.
my brother and sister-in-law got a Nintendo DS and Animal Crossing: WW about 2 weeks ago. Jean and i play online pretty often now. she's totally addicted to it and so is my brother. i was afraid Chris might not like it that much because you don't really have that much of a goal in the game... but he loves it. they paid off their first house payment in the game the first day... they love it.
some people moved into the old apartment next door. we haven't met them yet though. young couple with a little dog.
well i need to get ready for work. i hope everyone is doing well.
