Dear all: I know it was only 11 days ago when the store was launched, and I promise not to post about it every two weeks, not even KinkyVegan goodness products, but I just got an email from Printfection about more items being added. Sadly still not stickers or bumper stickers...still waiting for those..but all the KinkyVeg designs at the Printfection store now have more options since they just added a whole Drinkware section:

Anyway I just created a "Drinkware" section with each of the 6 products available in each of the 3 designs and a "home and office" section with all the products in each of the 3 designs..(btw the cutting board isn't the cheap plastic I had assumed, but a fancy glass one.) As a bonus, a vintage 1903 spanking photo is the image for the "home and office" section ;-)
Saving the best for last, their email to me said this about a code for 5 bucks off:

Two stores are launched!
Dear fellow kinkyveg'ers,
After some more looking around I found and really liked Printfection as a store front, but just as it has a few advantages over Cafepress, Cafepress has a few advantages over Printfection, so there are two stores:

While Cafepress only allows me one design for each style..I can't offer two kinky veg designs on for the same e.g. Ringer T Shirt style (unless I cough up $7/month I think it was for an upgrade..which they warn you cannot later be downgraded)...but it does have Stickers, Mugs, Gstrings, and Totes which Printfection doesn't have. Right now Printfection has clothes plus cutting boards (I can add cutting boards if anyone's interested).
Printfection allows me to add multiple designs/styles in any combo in this free account, plus adding sections. This is a really nice feature, and so far there are these sections:
**"Classic KinkyVeg Pride Shirts" has (almost) all the shirt styles with the pride flag but no words just the "V"
** "KV Flag with message shirts" has the shirt styles with the pride flag with "Kinky Vegan Pride" on the stripe
** "KV "Vegan Heart" Flag Shirts" section has with her ok, broken_dolly's design with the word "vegan" in the heart
That way once you know which design you want, you can just go to that section and select your shirt style..I've also added:
** Sweatshirts - there are two sweatshirt styles and we have above three designs so...yes, all 6 combinations are found here
** "Available in 3XL (XXXL) or larger" section, all under one roof, are the 5 styles (hopefully over time Printfection will add more) which come in 3XL (XXXL) or larger (not all, but most, other styles in Printfection go up to 2XL) Since there are 5 styles and 3 designs, you guessed it, this friendly section has a total of 15 shirts (each one in a variety of colors, as with the above sections, I neglected to mention) for your enjoyment :-)
Right now there is zero mark-up (zero profit) set up for both stores (I need to double check that the 3XLor larger section I just added in the last hour, has that as the default)..my main goal is to help promote Kink With Compassion..so grab 'em while there's at-cost! (I'm not holding my breath but if it turns out there is enough regular buyers to pay for upgrades or donate to some cause (or quit my day job and go KinkyVegActivist full time, Not! ;-) then I may later introduce mark-ups back in there)
Last but not least, CafePress uses American Apparel for (many?all?) styles and AA (while it's gotten criticism for anti union, but others say it's not true) is known for anti-sweatshop. I emailed Printfection about their manufacturers and they replied with their names: "We currently carry products from Bella, Anvil, and Gildan. All the products are printed in the United States. None of the products we carry are manufactured in sweatshops."

Non-leather jackboots?

I've been looking for some non-leather jackboots, or similar style of straight, unfastened riding/biker boots, for a long time now, and I really can't find any. Here is a link to some actual jackboots, in case you're not sure what I mean. What I want is a mid-calf to knee height flat-soled (or almost flat-soled - I could live with a biker heel) straight-sided boot which can be worn under or over trousers, and has either no exterior fastening or just a buckle or two at the top (although lacing at the base, a la old-fashioned British riding boots, would also be fine).
I cannot find this product ANYWHERE! Do any readers have any suggestions of shoe companies who supply, or could supply, something like this? And in smaller sizes? I'm based in the UK but I'd be willing to order from abroad if I could find the right pair.

Pride Month Events
This list has been quiet lately, so I thought I'd post a question to you all. June is LGBT Pride month, and along with all the queer stuff happening, there are various BDSM Pride events that occur. Unfortunately, these events tend to be called "Leather Pride" rather than BDSM Pride/Kink Pride, etc. Aside from the unfortunate association of kink with animal skins, I also find it to be a bit of a misnomer, considering the huge range of BDSM/kinky activities that simply have nothing to do with leather (or non-leather alternative) implements.
My question to you all is - have you, or are you planning to attend, any of these Pride events this year? Do you try to be visible as a veg*n kinkster at these events? If so, how do you go about it?
