Do you have any plans for this character in the game? To give Sakura a break from /gestures at canon. Between Kaito and Eriol and Yue over the years. Maybe team up with Tomoyo to help model some of the outfits she makes or something?? While obviously doing what she can to help out around the place in general. Just let her enjoy things being quiet again and somewhat normal. Or, well. As normal as things get for her, anyway.

Character's History:

For a summary for the main original series:

The basic summary of the manga is that Sakura is an average schoolgirl living with her father and older brother in Tomoeda, Japan. One day, she thinks she hears something in the basement and investigates, only to release the Clow cards accidentally. These are 19 magical cards created and named for the sorcerer who named them - Clow Reed. The guardian Beast of the Seal was sleeping at the time and instructed Sakura to take responsibility and go recapture the cards, becoming a Cardcaptor. She fights each card she comes across, assisted by Kero in his disguise, which seems more like a plush toy. Her best friend (and second cousin), Tomoyo Daijouji, films her and creates battle costumes. This continues for a while until they encounter Syaoran Li. A boy who transfers to their class in school from Hong Kong, claiming to be a descendant of Clow's, comes to claim the cards for himself. He doesn't particularly approve of Sakura or like her initially, but over time, her personality wins him over, and he softens, helping her and giving her advice against the cards until she has collected all of them.

Yue, the second guardian under the moon, tests her ability and worthiness to claim to be their new Mistress. She defeats him using Windy and pleads that she wants to be friends and doesn't want to fight because it is revealed Yue's disguise has been her brother's friend Yukito Tsukishiro all along. He eventually agrees, declaring her their new Mistress. That would seem to be the end of it, but things continue. A series of incidents necessitated that Sakura continued to use the cards, but her staff changed, and so did the power she drew on to use them, causing them to become Sakura cards.

These incidents result from Clow's reincarnation, assisting her in changing all the cards under her own power as he takes the form of a young transfer student to get close to her. Eventually, he has one last test for her to help her finish changing the last of the cards, putting the whole city to sleep and telling her unless she defeats him by dawn, they will do so forever. Sakura panics but manages to change Dark and Light with the help of Syaoran, Kero, and Yue. After this, Eriol feels his job is done and tells her the truth about why he came, explaining everything before he leaves for England once more. Syaoran heads back to Hong Kong as well, but not before confessing his feelings towards Sakura. This causes her great upset and helps her realize she loves him, too. She rushes to meet him before he leaves, exchanging the bears they had made earlier and naming them for each other. After two years, Syaoran returns and says he is there to stay in Japan with her.

Clear Card:

Which is where the main original manga ends. The Clear Card arc takes off exactly when she and Syaoran reunite. In Clear Card, new characters are introduced, namely, Akiho Shinomoto and Yuna D. Kaito (yup, if you read Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles, you know what that D means for magicians....). Akiho is a transfer student from England who moves to school with Sakura and quickly becomes friends. Kaito is something akin to a butler of sorts in caring for Akiho, basically. Sakura makes new cards with her magic, if initially unintentionally, not realizing it is her desires/wishes in the moment creating them.

Character's Personality:

Sakura is an average student, friendly to everyone, energetic, and always cheerful. Her 'invincible spell' tells her that 'everything will surely be alright.' She's an optimist at heart, always trying to compromise to make everyone happy. She loves school and excels in gym class, but she isn't the best at maths and has worked to improve over the years. Her brother Touya teases her a lot. Touya does care, though, worrying about her when she is ill, hurt, or exhausted from her sneaking out after the Clow Cards. He can even tell if it is Sakura or the Mirror card she uses to take her place when she goes out at night. In this sense, while she is often sweet and cheerful, sometimes her temper can flare, usually around Kero or her brother.

There's something so kind and cheerful about Sakura that everyone can't help but warm to her. Her energy and concern for others eventually help her befriend even Yue over time when he was initially unsure of her. Not to mention Syaoran, where he didn't initially approve of her as the Cardcaptor but eventually found he had developed feelings for her. She's always lively and full of energy, reacting to everything and giving her all.

Sakura is optimistic. Her 'invincible spell', to tell herself that 'everything will surely be all right.' This is the heart of everything for her. Her driving force, besides knowing she has her friends and their support. Her mantra and belief is that everything will work out in the end, even if things might be difficult right then for her or others. This is what helps her through all the trials she overcomes, what she tells herself whenever she needs a boost or encouragement. And it works. One way or another, things do work out. Even if not initially the way she might have imagined or wanted.

Everything she does is usually for others. To keep her friends and family safe and happy. This is why she takes up the mantle of being the new Cardcaptor and captures the Clow Cards that endanger others. It's not for her own benefit, praise, or compensation, given she tries to keep this a secret as best she can outside of Kero, Tomoyo, and Syaoran. This is for obvious reasons, such as not scaring or worrying people, for the most part. Even if others like Touya and her father do actually guess what she is really up to, they know she is doing something dangerous but are unsure how to help or ask about it.

Sakura does have a fear of ghosts. This stems from Touya telling her about the ghosts he saw while growing up, including that of their mother. This scares Sakura because she can't see them herself. This also extends to ghost/horror stories as well. She gains courage with her friend's support and the knowledge that it is usually a Clow Card if strange things happen. She explains this as being that she can at least understand the Clow Cards once she figures them out, but she doesn't understand the likes of ghosts and "hates things she can't understand."

She can also be very gullible, believing many of these stories and the lies that her classmate Yamazaki tells until another reveals that it is untrue. This trust and naivety can often have her coming across as dense at times to some as a result, in the way she so easily trusts and believes what others tell her.

This trust can cause worry for others around her for obvious reasons. She is warned against getting too close to their substitute teacher, Kaho when Syaoran senses her magic and is suspicious of her. But Sakura herself can't help feeling drawn to her and trusting, often shown in her 'dreamy' or 'floaty' state around Kaho the same way she is attracted to Yukito - as both are related to the moon with their particular powers.

Sakura has a huge heart, always worrying and caring for everyone. This goes especially for Yukito, her older brother's best friend. She carries feelings for him throughout the series, a crush she stays quiet about most of the series. Though it's pretty obvious she likes him, giving him gifts, helping him out, and bringing him food when he comes and stays over with Touya, she blushes a lot around him. He helps her realize her true feelings lie with Syaoran instead.

"The person he loves, I love that person too, and I’m sure that person loves him too. So it’s okay that he doesn’t love me."

This shows that she is able to try and understand, put others first, and accept their feelings. The things she cannot change. This is a very mature response for someone her age when her crush rejects her feelings for her older brother. But she just genuinely wants her friends and loved ones to be happy, regardless of if this might mean forgoing her own. It takes time to accept this, initially understandably upset, but she strives to move forward and be glad they found each other.

Tomoyo: I really love you too, Sakura-chan!
Sakura: Me too, Tomoyo-chan!
Tomoyo: I think we're talking about different kinds of love, Sakura-chan.
Sakura: Did you say something?
Tomoyo: Sakura-chan... I'll tell you when you're older.

While Sakura is always fretting and is good at picking up on other people's feelings, she's pretty oblivious when said feelings relate to her. She has no idea until Syaoran confesses his feelings that he loves her and is oblivious to Tomoyo's feelings. This is not to say that she isn't perceptive about others - she can tell when someone close to her is upset or worried about something. Sakura just isn't the best at picking up on things when it comes to her specifically being involved. This means if someone wants to get through to her about their feelings, they need to be direct about it, or else she won't quite grasp their intent. This is shown when she easily replies back to Tomoyo with 'I love you too!' though she clearly means this as a friend.

"I don't want to be your master. I want to be your friend."

Sakura is not quite the conventional Mistress of the Cards, with her initial friendship and relationship with Kero and Yukito outside of them being her Guardians. As a result, she doesn't want to control them and boss them around to have that kind of power over them. She simply wants them to work together and be friends. She sees this friendship as more important than gaining more power by actively commanding either or both of them. This starkly contrasts Clow, who was close to both Keroberos and Yue but was seen as much more of a Master than as a friend. She never tries to take advantage of either of them or their power, only really using it when they offer it to her in times of need, such as to assist her against Eriol and his threatened permanent night and sleep.

Character Abilities:

Foresight - usually within dreams, but Sakura does have some potential in this and has had glimpses of future events through her dreams.

Magic - Sakura wouldn't have been able to open the book of Clow and become Mistress of the Cards if she didn't have some magical power. She also holds command over the two Guardians, Keroberos (Guardian of the powers of the cards under the Sun alignment) and Yue (He's the guardian under the Moon). In particular, Sakura's magic is focused on her sealing wand and the Clow/Sakura cards, which later become Sakura cards as she uses her own magic from the power of the stars to make them her own. Through using the Clow/Sakura Cards, Sakura can do a range of things, one of which is to fly. Of course, this depends on how she can creatively use the Cards and their abilities, though some are better at defense or offensive use. Later on in the sequel series, she gets powerful enough to create 'Clear Cards.' Some seem to be upgraded, more powerful versions of the Clow/Sakura cards, and others are new.

Detecting magic - she is able to eventually tell that Clow is nearby or sense traces of his magic as Eriol helps her turn more and more cards to Sakura cards, enhancing her magic and power.

Athletics - Probably her best talents at school are those of sports. Sakura is naturally talented in this area and participates in the cheerleading squad after school.

Strategy - To some extent, though she often has her friends' help, she can still devise a plan to catch Clow's cards, such as when she figures to freeze Watery after Yukito's suggestion to take her out for shaved ice. She plans ahead of time and can do so in the heat of the moment, such as when she uses Thunder and Sword against the Shadow card to trap it.
