"In that part of the book of my memory before the which is little that can be read, there is a rubric, saying, 'Here beginneth the new life.' Under such rubric I find many things; and among them the words which I purpose to copy into this little book; if not all of them, at least their substance." -Dante Alighieri
I'm a lost chemistry major and a religious studies minor. I am currently working on my PhD in Pharmacology, though I work mainly in immunology, infectious diseases specifically, and gonorrhea more specifically. It's a glamorous life, really.
I've had this journal since 2001. My current entries are friends-only, but I'm pretty open to new lj friends. For the most part, this journal chronicles my mundane day-to-day activities as a graduate student and my opinions on academia, scientific advances and discoveries, and personal rants.
