It's been forever and a day since I fell off the edge of the virtual world... you guys have been missed! ^_^<3

Well, in that time, I have managed to complete the rest of the paintings! *gasps in surprise*

I've decided to forgo the step-by-step commentary; I've found myself getting a bit repetitive. I'm sure I've babbled enough for the last few entries ^^; ( Collapse )

As I work through my cards, my thoughts kept going back to my previous DAII project - Favours. The more I looked at the cards, the more I felt Favours looked incomplete. Some definition was needed. So I bit the bullet and decided to ink it with my coloured pens...

I'm feeling a trifle disheartened... So close to the end and my muses are running out of steam. Or perhaps we were rushing through it... :( Although I've managed to eke out designs that I have deemed acceptable, they seem to lack the buzz I have felt for the previous ones. ....sigh....

O_o my initial reaction was torn between wow and eeew (because it looked so real!)! But the more I look at it the more amazing I think it is... The details, realism and concept are simply brilliant!

At Amazon £32.30 Blu-Ray (or £25 DVD)! Yay! The day has finally come! I've been resisting buying any HP movies because I have a thing for box sets. And the fact that I have only watched till OOTP makes this purchase even more worth it!

A number of a peeves....

Drug: a substance that is used as a medicine or narcotic; or the act of administering said substance
Dragged:the past participle and past tense of drag, i.e. to pull along forcefully
Example: he was dragged into the bedroom
NOT: he was drug into the bedroom
While the use of "drug" is sometimes used as dialect and colloquial variants, it still bugs me!

Also could of, should of, would of.... No, no, no! It's could have, should have, would have! Or could've, should've, would've.

Lastly - it's "I couldn't care less." Yes, really. There's a pretty good argument/explanation here.
