◆ Winter break has already started for me since last week. ♥ So what have I been doing? Being lazy and simming my brains out! xD I love downloading hacks for my Sims 2 and making them do poses for screen-shot taking - it kinda kicks into the graphic artist in me. ◆ First, thank you all so much for the great support and input over at the first part of this small crisis is that the right word for this? /fail 8D;; of mine. Everyone on my flist and those who follow this series are so awesome! ♥

◆ Second, I know that I said I would drop the project if they were determined to continue it... Well, I lied and am probably gonna seem like a big-loser by doing what I'm choosing to do. I just contacted them and told them that I WILL NOT drop Mother Keeper EVEN if they continue to scanlate it themselves. Why? Because I've gotten a lot of private messages (in these past two days) from lovely fans that don't want me to drop this project. I've read a few complaints how the grammar and their translation vocabulary "ruined" the story or at least it didn't make sense. And, seriously, grammar and vocabulary is a huge thing when in the scanlation business! Also, I'm not too fond that they only place they release Mother Keeper is at MangaFox. Like me, and a lot of people I know, we're not too fond of MangaFox or reading manga online for that matter.

◆ So, I contacted them and told them I won't stop them from continuing to scanlate Mother Keeper if that is what they want to do. But I'm not going to stop either! I know, I'm being bitchy excuse my poor language ; A;, but I like working on Mother Keeper and my translator did so much for me to help me tranlate this series that I don't want to waste her work and time either! Also, I can at least provide an alternative way of getting these chapters for those who dislike using MangaFox. I only provide Sendspace and Megaupload download links, I do not upload my manga anywhere else. That's what I have been doing and that is what I will continue to do. I have no control of who uploads Mother Keeper anywhere else. I let people have permission if that is what they really want to do.

◆ To sum it up... I just want to provide people with other means of getting a hold of this series other than online-reading. :D ♥ I'm not saying my versions of Mother Keeper are better either; just that I was worried about grammar and even advised the group that, if they want to continue working on Mother Keeper, to proof read and check on the grammar from now on. I at least know that my versions are readable and understandable. I am trying to make this end up with the least amount of drama. So I'll let that group do what they can do, and if anyone is still looking forward to my releases; thank you! This is all for Mother Keeper, really; I want to make sure this fandom grows and stays alive! ;; ♥

zaforgotten has brought to my attention that a different scanlation group has scanlated and uploaded chapter 8 of Mother Keeper - when I only scanlated the first 7 chapters so far. By the looks of it, this new group has basically picked up where "I left off at".

Um, I know for sure I didn't state anywhere that I dropped Mother Keeper, nor did I say that nobody else could pick up this series. But, I think it would've been nice if this new group had contacted me and asked about scanlating Mother Keeper...? I don't mind if someone else wants to pick up this series and help scanlate it to English readers - but I think it's kind of frustrating that they didn't ask? :(

I think it's just frustrating in the way that I - in between finals and work - am almost done with chapter 8 myself; when I now see that there's no point in working on the chapter since another group has released the chapter. I know, this is making me a bad person, but I really felt like I was wasting my time here. ; A;

Um... I think what I'm going to do is contact this group and ask if they're going to continue scanlating Mother Keeper. If they are, I'll probably drop it myself. I know I take a long time releasing each chapter 'cause I'm so lazy D:, so it's probably better to leave it in the hands of another?

Notes: I'm all over KAMUI again ever since I found out that razzlie knew about this series too! ♥♥ It's a rare manga and a lot of people don't really know about it; which makes me sad since I love this series so much. The story-plot is very good, plenty of actions scenes; and the artwork is to die for. Many people know Shingo Nanami's newest work, Sengoku Strays, so I thought about sharing Shingo Nanami's other works too!

KAMUI was licensed by Broccoli Books in the US, which made me very happy because I like Broccoli Books as a publisher. They did a great job bringing KAMUI over, and successfully released volumes 1-9. Though the company died before releasing the last two volumes, 10 and 11; so those are the only two volumes that in RAWS that I'll be sharing with you guys. I haven't found anyone who scanlated/translated those last two volumes ; A;
