Just thought that I could maybe post some of my bigger pieces, meaning wallpapers. I think I've gotten a bit better in making them and all. Besides, it's never bad to get opinions and all. So, tell me what you think if you've got a moment please.

I've been meaning to do that for a while now but kept postponing it. Don't know why but it was probably just me being forgetful and lazy. So, here's a post with only Angel/BtVS related wallpapers. Because I like to keep everything neat and tidy, hehe.

Since it's been quite some time since the show is over, I don't think there are many people still unspoiled about the happenings. So, the cut is just because of length and all. I kind of like the list thing from last time, so I'll stick to that.

And now it's called nostalgia...

To kind of celebrate the goodness that was Gilmore Girls despite the bad moments it also had, I thought that I could post some of my wallpapers here as well. Just for fun and all, you and me and everyone else.

So, I'll only put the text here and the everything else behind the cut. For those who don't want to be spoiled because they haven't seen it all yet. Here's a list of all of them and what's on it.

Yep, much faster than you or I would have expected, I come with my other two wallpapers. Although, I did mention it yesterday. Btw, I still don't remember what i actually wanted to post about yesterday. Anyway, on with the artworks. This time it's two from the show Gilmore Girls. One of the two was made for a challenge, the other just for fun because I wanted to. :)

Lorelai: Suddenly


I've made this for a challenge out of promo pictures for season 7. It was the first time that I've worked with stock images or something like that. I got a silver award for it, which is more than I would have expected since I'm not really happy with some things.


Logan: Intensity


This was the fun and easy to look at part of wallpaper making. That guy is quickly becoming my fav from the show. I've recently bought season 5 and since watching this... yeah, you get the drift. It even cured me from my Rory dislike. Hmmm... Back to this, I also seem to have a weird fascination for the word intensity/intense. Have no clue how to explain that one. So, the fun part of this was that I wantd to make a Logan wall and I did one. :D Am still not totally satisfied with the text but anyway.

Yesterday evening I also spontaeously decided to turn it into a new layout for my portfolio. Iframe-less I hope. So far I'm managing. Will see.

Okay, it's been a long long time since I've last done this and I've actually wanted to show them for a while now but I never got around doing it. It does need a little preparing and such. Besides, I didn't have much to show before and then some time ago I decided to enter some blend challenges again. Here's the result. Just right in this moment I decided to do this in two parts, both will have two wallpaper and they even are related, meaning from the same show. Anyway, enough talk and on to the actual art.


Lorne: Someday


What's to say about this? It was made for a Lorne-centered challenge, obviously. This is actually my first piece which only has one image in it with some textures thrown in. I like how it turned out, except the text I'm not happy with at all. I got a silver award for this.


Cordy/Angel: Beauty


The challenge here was simply a wall with caps from the episode Waiting In The Wings. How could I resist then? This scene is when Angel says something like, "the most beautiful woman I've ever seen...." I wanted to prtray that. The quotes are actually from Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, which I dislike but the lines fit. If you believe it or not, I love this one, using it on my desktop currently. And, drumroll please, I got a platinum award for it. :)

Just a little something in between. It took me longer to finish this than I expected, though. But it was actually the first time that after printing it out I didn't edit half of the whole thing, but was quite satisfied with the result. Yay me... maybe not.

Don't know what to say, so I thought I could post this wallpaper. It's not exactly new but still my latest. I like making those big blended things but it's not as easy as thinking that I want to; need to be the right mood and the use has to be there fully.

So, what's to say about this? It features Angel at the end of the season 5 episode You're Welcome when receiving that phone call about Cordy's death. Tried to show his feelings then -- the despair, loss and pain. Hope it worked.
