I've decided to delete my Musketeers comm and Tolkien comm. There just isn't any interest, alas.

Anyone on my flist knowledgeable enough about flintlock pistols to have a suggestion on how someone might sabotage a pistol in such as way that it might injure the shooter, assuming that the shooter is experienced and takes good care of his weapons?

I wrote this yesterday as a gift for/tribute to my father, who is in the process of shuffling off this mortal coil to begin his own journey among the stars. It is a sequel of sorts to the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. My father taught me at an early age to appreciate the little Prince's wisdom; thus, though I do not live it as well as I would like, it is with me always.

Yay! Age of Ultron is made of pure awesome! I've been reading spoilers, most of which has been negative, while I waited to see it, and have rolled my eyes at the complaints, but I thought maybe I'd get it after seeing the movie. Nope! Get it even less now.

Anyway, as I said before, PURE AWESOMENESS!

I've decided that the only thing more certain to attract rain than car washing is setting up a kiddie pool.  

In an effort to make a dent in two bags of apples before they go bad, I made an apple pie today, and to my surprise and delight, it's actually yummy!

Woot! My top two votes placed in the top two; I love it when that happens!

*squee* There are so many stories this month! I cannot wait to read them all!
