2010 Karchan Reunion
So Eilan and I had this super awesome (read: lame) idea. Many people have talked about it in the past but we’re actually going to try to set it up and make it work.
If things go well we’re hoping to continue in this fashion possibly annually or every 5 years or so at different locations around the country (possibly world but I don’t have a passport yet so poo on that).
We discussed a bunch of different location possibilities based on Karchanian population concentration, cost of travel, etc. and finally decided we want all those who can join us to head to California next spring for a beach camp out. In her own words, "hahaha it will be glorious. we will make a tent city and swim by day and drink by night!"
I’m going to find out which beaches are possibilities, how much camping costs, etc. and we still need to nail down dates. Possibly during spring break for those still in school. With any luck this gives people enough time to save and maybe take a little time off work before the event.
Anyone with ideas or other input feel free to post!
