Date: 2013-02-14 07:09 pm (UTC)Like I said before, the telephone effect was great. I really liked how you handled the building suspense as Eames is searching for Arthur, and even though you were juggling voices throughout that part, the changes between the speakers made perfect sense to me. I think you captured a great balance between snark and vulnerability in Eames' and Arthur's interactions, too.
One question: did you record this in a different room? At the very beginning, I thought I could hear just a tiny bit of echo, like you might get in a room without a lot of furnishings.

Date: 2013-02-14 07:49 pm (UTC)I actually did not record in a different room. However I did record in my BRAND NEW HOME OFFICE and the difference is I was adding furniture and posters on the walls and I think the new things (especially on the walls) muffled the echos a bit. Now if I could just find a way to stop barking dogs and airplanes flying overhead. Sometimes the flight pattern is right over my house from Dulles. It really really sucks.
I know there is a fancy way to record the telephone effect. I have seen other podficcers talking about it. However, I am lazy and so just recorded on my phone and then recorded the recording and edited. LOL :P
This podfic was a lot of fun to do. I am glad you could tell the difference between Arthur and Eames. It was the hardest part since there were parts of dialog with no 'he saids' and such. And I really suck at accents so I don't do them.. not really.
*hugs*
