I only opened cards this morning, so I'll have more to do tonight, after I get home from dinner.

Not nearly nice enough! But I was depending on your ability to count! It had to be this year, though; last year the card would have been a very strange shape.

The day is getting more and more glittery, as the Life on Mars DVDs dropped through the letterbox this morning with a thump like Gene Hunt meeting a suspect.

I'm afraid I've only got as far as taking the wrapper off so far... but it did prompt me to get out the B7 S4 DVDs which had arrived a week or so before and check those. No buzzing in the computer drive! I must try the earlier disks that buzzed and see whether they still do, or whether that cleaning disk has actually helped. You never know I might actually be able to play music on the computer again!

Enjoy it when you do get to look at it properly - I hope there are good extras. I think I'll order a copy for myself next week.

That's very interesting about the buzzing! Do let us know about the results: I'd never realised that buzzing could be helped like that.

I now prefer to play music on my notebook from the hard disk, because of the lower noise - even without buzzing.
