Kalypso has led a fortunate life and can think of very little to say about it. Indeed, whether I can think of anything to say at all remains to be seen. You could watch this space, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

POLICY STATEMENT ON COMMENTS
The master version of this journal is on Dreamwidth (I crosspost from there), and I will periodically import all comments on the LJ version into Dreamwidth. If you object to this import of your comments to Dreamwidth please inform me. I will then attempt to delete all comments from such objectors from the Dreamwidth journal.

POLICY STATEMENT ON READING FICTION
I find that I have very little time to read my friends' fiction these days, unless I have a particular reason to go to a particular piece, or I'm absolutely desperate for displacement activity. I know I'm missing some brilliant work, and I'm sorry about it; I hope to have more time for reading when I retire, though government reforms keep moving that date further into the 2020s. In the meantime, I hope you are not offended by the absence of my comments, and remember that your non-fictional entries are evidently interesting enough for me to keep you on my list.

After a recent incident involving a friend, I have posted emergency contact details backdated to August 2004 (ie the day before my first actual post); these are private, but may be accessed by LJ staff at http://www.livejournal.com/abuse/report.bml in dire emergency. But if you know me, you can probably come up with something more quickly yourselves.
