chosenfire28, who also made a banner for it! \0/ I am insanely thrilled by this! You have to go see the art, really, it's great. There was a lot of great art for the AvRBB, but something about chosenfire's piece just called to me. During the writing process, they also showed me another piece that had been part of their ideas and it was just so evocative that it ended up playing a big part in my writing. It's also up at the art masterpost now :-)

Summary: When the Avengers raid a very dubious scientific installation, they come across something they'd never expected to find. Their discovery turns out to be even more surprising than first suspected, and it leads the team - especially Steve and Tony - to some new and very undiscovered territory.
Notes: Dedicated tochosenfire28, whose amazing art this is based on. Without input from them, this fic would've been very different and probably not half as fun! I never thought I'd be writing kid!fic, but with the right inspiration, anything can happen. Thanks, Chosenfire! I hope you like what sprung from your work.
