Now that he'd told Kevin his great, dark secret, everything just seemed to flow out of Joe, a vile mess of scorn and derision and pain that had been churning in the decayed remnants of his heart for months now. Because what did it matter anyway? He'd lost Kevin, lost Nick a long time ago, and now, he was finally being honest with himself.

Author's Note: This chapter was a long time coming, and for that, I want to apologize, and also thank everyone who has been waiting patiently (or impatiently) for me to update. I am now working three jobs, two a day, starting at 10 am and going straight through the day, getting home at 11 at night. There is little or no time to write, and I wish I had more time. So I do not know when the next chapter will be up, I only ask that you please please bear with me. Things are changing, in real life for me, and in the story. And I really hope you all enjoy the chapter, it's one of my longer ones. :)

Rating: M, Mature Themes, Possible Character Death.
Pairing: Possible Joick, Jovinick, Jovin, or Kevick.
Summary: The three notes of a triad are like bells, but Joe wishes he could have known which note was his.

Also, I want to dedicate this chapter especially to Elizabeth, because this story was written for her, inspired by her, and I miss her very much right now. Babe, this is for you.

REMINDER! Chapters 1-6 are open to the public but I have f-locked the remaining chapters and give them as a gift to the people who take initiative and comment on the first six chapters of the story. It's my little gift. That is why the rest of the story is f-locked, that's all.

Tintinnabulum (13/?)

Title: Tintinnabulum
Author: Wiffle
Rating: M, Mature Themes, Possible Character Death
Pairing: Possible Joick, Jovin, Kevick, or Jovinick
Summary: The three notes of a triad are like bells, Joe just wishes he could have known which note was his.

This entire story, and this chapter, are really, truly, for Elizabeth (bananahater336). She's absolutely amazing, one of the most amazing writers and people I've ever met. If it weren't for her this story would never be finished.

I'd also like to apologize for the delay in getting this chapter up. Let's just say the end of the year was really hectic, in both good and bad ways, and I had very little time to write. As of right now, I was fired from my job about three hours ago, so please bear with me if my writing is slow. It's a really difficult time for me. Thank you so much for being patient. It means the world.

Preview: Joe let his eyes slip shut, flooding his consciousness with the darkness, wishing to be closer to that comforting oblivion he'd almost made it to. That eternal night, just beyond the cliff of his bravery, the precipice of his will to live.

It was so close, the darkness, the abyss; he could feel a slow warmth overtaking his body the further he slipped into it's comforting embrace, a slow numbness dipping up his arms and-

"Joe, no!"
