Hello
Hello old friends
Gosh its been some years and it is a really nice surprise to see old friends still posting on here. It's wonderful.
The reason I found my way back here again after an absence of some 10 years is I bring some sad news to those who knew me well. My ex husband Colin sadly died last month. It was a sudden death, he was found in his home in Beaconsfield. He had a blood clot in his lung, which traveled up to his brain and I have been reassured he didn't suffer at all, it was instant. I'm glad that he wouldn't have known what was happening and that there was no pain. Nathan has been marvellous and so brave and strong and has been more concerned about me, but he's a lovely lad and so considerate.
I had been going through old emails between me and Colin from many years ago and came across old livejournal emails and that brought me here to see if old friends are still around. And yes I kick myself for ignoring so many friends for so many years, who were a constance presence in my life through the early 2000's.
It does make you think how fragile we are as human beings and no matter how young or old we are, we can simply be here one day and gone the next. Colin was a wonderful gentle man with a wonderful sense of humour and a generous heart. We may have not been happy together but he was a lovely man and I wish that he had found a partner to share his life with, he deserved some one to love him.
Live every moment of your life whether you have bad days or great days.
Ren xx
