Date: 2026-06-06 10:19 pm (UTC)For some reason Photoshop kept making the colors a lot lighter in one file. It seems to be fixed, but I'm not sure if it's anything I did or not.

Date: 2026-06-06 10:49 pm (UTC)I just finished weeding the telephone pole garden. I still need to plant the bulbs that go there, then put on compost and topsoil. Sowing seeds will be for later.
Also I finished the whole Poetry Fishbowl writing on Tuesday, so I don't have that to deal with until next month. Yay.
>> What have you been watching or reading? <<
Just finished watching Percy Jackson & the Olypians TV series. It was okay but I think the movie was better.
We are currently watching The Great Food Truck Race all-stars season.
Currently reading: The Cyprian.
Yesterday we went to the Arthur town-wide rummage sales. I scored several storage tubs, several large flowerpots, and a bunch of landscape rocks. I'm not exactly sure where to put most of the rocks, which are meant for edging beds, at a time of year when everything is chest-deep in grass. But the one big boulder will probably go by the wagonwheel garden. Rocks make for fun craft materials but are tedious to move. Fortunately we have equipment like trolleys and a long prybar.

Date: 2026-06-06 10:51 pm (UTC)Bleh, I wanna write more, but there's so much stress in my house right now. In the wake of Destiny 2 dying, I really want to bring back my OC from that, except I have no idea how the story played out since the great vaulting because I was so annoyed at everything becoming lost media.
Also--nose?

Date: 2026-06-07 08:08 pm (UTC)I've been RPing a lot and that's fine, but it does take time away from regular writing. But the problem is I've been so burnt out at work that I'm not writing much anyway.
Just got home from fetching litter and cat treats. Both needed things.
I've been watching a lot of car chases on YouTube, and classic Disney (Disney's Robin Hood is the best Robin Hood, fite me). Then there's the fact that it's the Stanley Cup Finals. I've been glued to the TV for that.
Reading, I'm back on my werewolf porn bullshit. But again, that's okay because it's relaxing and I need relaxing right now.

Date: 2026-06-08 12:27 am (UTC)Sewing: I traced the pattern for the knit top (New Look N6804) in a size Small (the smallest size). Hoo boy am I not going to have enough fabric to make a top AND a skirt from this silk jersey. It's a very simple pattern with a nice gathered detail at the front. Looking forward to making some test runs... now if the weather could please just get rainy and dreary so I'm willing to spend that kind of time inside. :D
Watching: Taskmaster on Channel 4, and just wrapped up the first 2 seasons of The Capture on BBC iPlayer. Also watched the Formula One race today which was highly entertaining and (as far as I'm concerned) an excellent result.
Reading: Attempting to reread Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. It's taking me a while. I definitely remember it being more gripping and chaotic when it first came out. I think I've gotten jaded in the past OMGWTFBBQ years.
