I'm a professional musician and songwriter living my dream of singing and making music for the rest of my life. I completed my bachelor's degree in vocal performance at the University of Colorado Denver in 2008 and obtained my master's in popular music performance from the University of Glasgow in 2010. In summer 2012 I moved to Japan to work and promote my music in an international market, and that is where I have thus far remained. Currently I teach private lessons and alternate between recording and performing my own works and with local and national theater groups in the area, including working as a featured artist and founding member of Cabaret Otaku.

Music is the center of my world, but I also spend a lot of time learning languages, reading like a maniac, watching movies obsessively, drawing, writing everything I can think of, buying new clothes, and spending time with my wonderful, wonderful friends. I speak Spanish and Japanese fluently, read Farsi and speak it at an intermediate level, and have been teaching myself Mandarin, Cantonese, Gaelic, and Russian. I'm part Guatemalan, part Iranian, part Blackfoot, and usually just check "Other" on applications in regards to race and religion. I travel, I rant, I live my life as best I can however it unfolds. This is the diary of a future star.
