The "Show off your house" meme!

So I'm sure there's plenty of people who've pimped out their Mayfield homes with regains or maybe even a little custom work. Wouldn't it be nice if all of those fancy decorations were listed somewhere as a reference? Well here's the place to do it! And it's really simple:

Just put your house address in the subject line and describe whatever paint jobs/extra space/whatever you've done to your house, as well as any regains that decorate it. Got a Gundam or two as lawn ornaments? List it here! A pet too big to keep in the house? Put it here! A simple paint job? That still counts! It doesn't matter what you've done to your house; if it's something that makes it even remotely different from the boring and standardized Mayfield home, put it right here! Because there's nothing wrong with showing off what you've got.

Twilight here has just recently regained her hot air balloon, which now proudly rests in the backyard. Expect her to ride it around the town a few times.

Zidane will want to have a go on it! He's been on airships and stuff like that so he'll like hot air balloons!

THEN IT'S SETTLED

We will have a family trip in the sky, courtesy of everyone's favorite purple unicorn.

The entire place? Has salt lines. There's a line of salt on the front porch, the carpets have devil's traps on their undersides, and Sam may or may not have consecrated the water. Depends, really--where can you find a rosary in this town? But yeah, he's basically pimped out the place with all the necessary spook-proofing.

Apple Bloom has the Cutie Mark Crusader clubhouse in her garden! It's a tree house that she and the other members of the CMC use for their meetings and to plan their strategies to get their cutie marks! It's a pretty good treehouse, actually (Apple Bloom repaired it and painted it pretty nicely when her sister gave it to her, hinting that her special talent is to do with creativity but sadly she probably won't find that out when she's in Mayfield. * sobs *).

Also, Kreutzer has her dolls guard the house at all times. They usually respect visitors and are quite friendly, but threats are not taken lightly.

There's a large cherry blossom tree in the garden. Of course it isn't in bloom so it's just a bare, rather imposing tree.

Yuyuko's physical body is resting underneath it so you probably shouldn't disturb it.

This house is full of harlequin themed decorations, paintings of wizards, and there is a giant hideous wizard statue made of solid marble sitting out on the front lawn. Also inside the house is an incredibly impressive bar, stocked with some of the most expensive brands of liquor imaginable.

The top floor of Carousel Boutique is sitting nestled on top of the roof of the house. The extra floor looks more or less like this.

The house is painted black. There is also a wheat field in the backyard. Katie, am I missing anything?

Rin tries to manage the upkeep of the house through various methods. Keeping it nice is important to her and she makes sure that everyone knows that. Broken windows are fixed personally by her and anything that requires physical labor is probably taken care of by someone else like Lancer.

Rin's room, on the second floor, is decorated vastly different than the rest of the house. She took over the basement at one point, but has since then moved her items out from there to her room since the house ended up quite full :D There's also a siberian husky puppy that follows her around and a black cat with a split tail.

1670 Nelson is sporting a brand new, brightly painted treehouse. Elmer is often in it. He likes high places. :3

339 Brady's garage is almost always open, and inside is an oasis ripped from 2010. A 60" flat screen TV, a DJ turntable set up, a DVD player and a shelf of movies, two laptops and speakers (one of them is from 1996 though), an XBox 360 and games, and a computer server. Quinn's moved in a mini fridge (full of sodas and beer), a couch and some chairs for anyone to stop by and hang out.

The couch in the living room is very broken in (and slightly fur-ridden), as Mika has used it for a bed for over a year. All large pieces of furniture have been moved away from it.

While she hasn't gotten more than two regains, she keeps the house relatively clean, and any art pieces she's created have been squirreled away in a closet somewhere so no one can see what she's made. She's too self-conscious of her work to want to display it, as she feels they aren't something to look at.

Raz has the World's Smallest Pony from his family's circus living in the backyard. His name is Goliath.

When I finally re-intro Nigel with all his regains, his house will have this RIDICULOUSLY ENORMOUS tree. Just the tree, not the treehouses, but still, look at its size compared to the house.

You asked for giant pets?

Loosha is about as tall as the houses. Needless to say, she stays in the yard when she has to come home.

This house is just downright unnecessary

So... Above the house is one of

hontobakabaka's regains, The Nadesico. It is a big space battleship with hologram projectors and hot springs and I don't even know what else, the list of awesome stuff just seems to get longer and longer.

And if you can look past that, you'll also see that their backyard has a big stage that was built right here in Mayfield for Rin to perform her concerts on, because Yosuke is a bro.

The front lawn has been replaced with an ornamental herb garden. The center has a sturdy foundation for something, but whatever is was is gone or was never installed.

Whenever the weather permits, the windows are open. Around supper-time, the scent of spicy foods cooking can be smelled about every third day or so, since Ilsa is the only aware person in the house, now.

The interior of the house hasn't changed much except in the basement. Ilsa has made it over, including her office for any counseling needed.

Viktoria has taken over the front yard of her house. She's planted tons of flowers along the borders and she keeps most of her regains there, too. I have a post on her journal with more detail about those. It's a pretty creepy garden. :3

Django regained a large magical tree with pink leaves that proudly rests in the backyard. In the front yard is a strange set of machines with a magic circle around them.

This house is surrounded by soybean plants. Why? Because this cat girl here regained them. And she makes tofu out of them! And even offers to make some for anyone who asks.

Ted got his ship, the Bug, back as a regain, and he's usually got it parked somewhere within the vicinity of his house when he's not out joyriding in it. It's not uncommon to see him out there tinkering with it.
