the thing about the song Show Them Who You Are is that I find it so motivational that I routinely put it on when I need to get myself in the correct mindset to tackle an endeavor that feels daunting. I *will* let myself get Alice Paul’d. I do wanna be a queen with a spine of steel.

however, the fact that the result of inez milholland taking this advice is that she is a ghostly hallucination in act 2 slightly puts a damper on things.

suffs which tbh isn't a bad thing it means every time I use this song as a pump up anthem I am forced to mentally tack on an addemdum that says: 'you can't be a bad bitch if you don't take a lunch break. do not end up haunting the narrative in act 2 because you run yourself ragged' personal inez milholland anyway it's kinda like you ever listen to the soundtrack of she loves me? in she loves me there is a song called perspective where a character sings about how you have to bootlick to not get fired and he's singing it to the main character georg to give him advice on how to not lose his job and then the next song is called goodbye georg bc lmao georg did not take the advice and loses his job except in that case it's like jokey song--->consequence and here it's actually really sincere song not played for laughs--->RIP to my favorite suff which btw caught me off guard bc I didn't know anything about her before this musical! anyway I love this song and I have writing to get done by a deadline so I will be listening to it a lot for the next month I think

genuinely struggling to understand what you'd need a guide for unless youre doing some crazy html but at that point youre leadning html not ao3 ao3 is like the easiest website to find exactly what youre looking for every day i see a take that forces me to stop myself from instantly turning into a 'kids these days' adult it is helped by the fact that half of the grown adults i work with also refuse to parse basic sentences anyway every complaint ive ever seen about ao3 has been dumb as hell
