I know it has been a very long time since I've posted. I find I do not think often of LJ anymore, instead spending most of my time on Tumblr and LJ and Facebook. As this is a public entry, if you wish for any of my other accounts, leave a reply and I'll message you my tumblr and Facebook names privately.
I recently passed my 33rd birthday. I busy myself most frequently with activism work, and staying home and writing and reading. I've developed quite a few chronic illnesses and have become an impassioned user of "spoon theory."
I have three cats now, Ares and Athena, a brother and sister I adopted a few years ago, and a new baby, Loki, who's less than a year old.
I still write some fanfiction, under a different penname now thanks to fandom wank affecting my old one.
I endure. I am not miserable, though my life is not blissful either. I am content.
I'd love to hear from any of you who are still around
With all the painful news stories I've read in the past 24 hours, I just wanted to pop on here and tell you all I love you. I'm still reeling, but I'm here to talk if anyone wants to talk about it.
I'm still on tumblr and livejournal and youtube and AO3 and everywhere else, I just have an alternate internet identity, and I also lurk a lot. I'm on tumblr a LOT actually. And I still go to TTH a lot.
Unfortunately there's no real way to announce my alternate screenname to all my casual acquaintances and readers without also announcing it to the bullies and the people who send me hate. Some of them already know, of course, but I'd like to avoid another flood of "go kill yourself" mail if possible.
If you contact me privately I'll let you know where you can find me now.
I am really sorry about all the fics I will probably never finish. Maybe someday?
