The Journal Record‘s Top Projects honors the top construction projects in Oklahoma. The program tells the stories and shows the impact of Top Projects around Oklahoma. This premier awards program offers exclusive opportunities to promote your firm or product to the region’s best construction, engineering and architectural firms.
Projects are judged for their degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts. Projects must have been completed in the previous year. All projects are eligible, whether new construction or a major renovation in commercial or residential.
Project Requirements:
- The project must have been built in Oklahoma.
- There is no limit to the number of projects each firm or person can submit.
- The project must be commercial but can be multi-family apartment, senior living and condominium complexes.
- There is a $50 fee to submit each nomination form.
Individual awards will be presented to companies in the following categories. Winners will be chosen by the total scores for Top Projects they have worked on.
- Contractor of the Year
- Architect of the Year
- Engineer of the Year
- Interior Designer of the Year
