Profile

I am or have been working as a programmer and a security consultant. Am also volunteering as a system administrator for several organisations, most notably Stack. Am the maintainer of the XS-httpd webserver and wrote/contributed to lots of other software as well. For the FreeBSD project I ported and maintain a bunch of software packages, as a FreeBSD ports committer as well.

I write about whatever interests me, mostly security-related features, internet- or copyright-restricting politics, privacy issues, conferences, sometimes new software releases and whatever else I would like to share with a larger public.
