About J.J.Express

J.J.Express was a Johnny's Junior group formed at the early side of 2004. The name J.J.Express means "Johnny's Jr.'s Super Express". J.J. are the initials of Johnny's Jr., Express is the translation of choutokkyuu. At the beginning of JJE, the group members were Inoo, Yuto and Takumi, as well as Matsumoto and Arioka (though the two of them appeared kind of randomly at the beginning..?) and soon also Tamamori, making J.J.Express a 6 person group for the time being. Later the group had other changes, including Tamamori and Takumi being removed and moved to A.B.C.Jr. and Jr. Boys, as well as Matsumoto quitting JE in 2005.

New members were added to the group (already known junior Asaka, as well as fresh juniors Takaki, Hashimoto, Fukasawa, Kamei and Morimoto) creating a 9 member group. Yuto and Morimoto were moved out of J.J.Express, into Tap Kids, performing with the "chibi juniors", leaving the "actual" J.J.Express now consistsing of 7 members. And while the "chibi juniors" have become the new "cute" thing in JE, J.J.Express has had the chance to evolve from being the baby group themselves, getting own original songs like the fresh young boys' song 少年のまま (Shounen no mama) or the more adult like 感じるままにYou & I (Kanjiru mama ni You & I), shaping their image into a new, more mature J.J.Express.

Asaka and Fukasawa disappeared from J.J. performances at the early side of 2007. Asaka disappeared for good for some months (probably because of school related things?) but appeared in Shounen Club after some time, but he no longer appeared with J.J.Express. Instead, he's dancing with M.A.D. Fukasawa, while never really disappearing, was moved to appear in the show with Jr.Boys, although he still appeared with J.J.Express in the magazines. J.J.Express was broken up late 2007 when JE created the new group to debut, Hey!Say!JUMP. Inoo, Daiki and Takaki were moved as members to the new debuting group, while Hasshi and Kamei stayed as juniors. hey_say.) Hasshi and Kamei are currently appearing in a group (no name yet) with Sanada. Asaka and Fukasawa are both back-up dancing, one with M.A.D. and the other with Jr.Boys, but in magazines they still haven't been grouped with either of them, so time will tell...
