Now that we have the reissues of Mimidokodesuka and Tamper, when is Long Nights going to get a release? Sometime this summer I hope?
Just picked up the Three Poplars LP of "Two Organs" and I was looking at Jim's photography, which makes the inner sleeve. The linear notes are printed there and in the notes there's this section:
"Dedicated to my teachers: Tony, Phill, Arnold and Folke."
Now, I know who the rest are, but who's Arnold?
Does the man ever tour solo?
Honestly, what is "the Nitzsche thing" that people mention when in conversation about Jim? I cannot understand this. I even went out and acquired several Nitzsche productions and arrangements (for free mind you, from the public library) to see if there were any similarities. I did not really notice any, save for similar arrangements and sound when it came to strings.
Jim also thanks Niztsche in the notes of Bad Timing. Why?
Does anyone here have a high-quality mp3 of O'Rourke covering Venus in Furs they can post? I'd greatly appreciate it.
Also, where can one order a CD of Mizu No Nai Umi?
"women of the world" was just on a blue shield health care commercial. crazy.
are there any of jim's solo tabs floating around? specifically for ghostship in a storm?
