Had a wonderful birthday weekend
So Friday on my actual birthday, mom and I went to Red Lobster which was great as always. Haven't had lobster in a long time so it was nice.
Saturday went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with Jennifer her Husban Jim, their two sons, Elisabeth and Sarah. Had a blast looking at all the different sea life. Good times with good company.
Had lunch at Bubba Gumps, where I have never eaten before. I liked it, had the fish and chips. All the forrest gump references got cheesy but the food was good.
I think I've finally bonded with my custom shop Carvin guitar. I'm enjoying it and finding things that are difficult on my lower end guitars are a breeze on this one.
That's about it for now. Will be doing a lot more posting here then fb in the future. The new setup has some good ideas, the problem is the add too much crap to it to get to those good ideas. Plus I don't like that no one gets the choice. I didn't like the last change to FB and it was still annoying the hell out of me, then this..just no. Not when most ofmy posts are for my own benefit anyway. I'll still check fb and see whatever there is to see, but as far as I care the whole thing could go down tomorrow and it would have little affect on me.
