*In my four weeks at BP, I have only had two meltdowns.  They were both related to the same class, 603.
*Today is field day.  I missed last Friday because of Rosh Hashanah.  The week before was a three day week.  The week prior was a four day week.  Next week, I'm missing Monday for Yom Kippur.  The week after, we have Friday off.  The following week, we have Monday off and I'm missing Friday for my cousin's wedding.  Basically, I'm going to get through my first three months of work without ever working a full week.
*I hate field day.

I GOT THE JOB!!!!

I'm going to be teaching 6th or 7th grade at Bronx Preparatory Charter School.

If you had told me last year that my first job would be teaching middle school at a charter school, and that I would be super-excited about it, I would have laughed in your face.  It's everything I thought I didn't want.

It just goes to show that I should be more open to what life has to offer me!
