I saw a clip of her on Fox smirking on about "transparency" in the impeachment hearing. It felt like she was auditioning for the role as Fox's tame Democrat. Surely she'll be knocked out of the leadership race soon?!
In other news: Hi, friend. I've just realised I didn't answer your email. Yikes! I'm on it, with many apologies ...

Bingo. With a side of, Hillary was almost certainly correct about the Republicans grooming her to be a spoiler. She is absolutely being promoted by Russian bots. *shudder*
I watched with incredulity. If she was a stick of rock, she'd have a capital R written right through her.
When you say spoiler, do you mean she might run independently and siphon off some Democrat votes? Surely people will have learned after what happened with Jill Stein last time.
Politics in both our countries is such a terrifying clown show at the moment. And so very dangerous ...
Unfortunately I’ve learned to not underestimate the stupidity of people. If the Dem nominee is someone who a voter has some ideological difference with, they just might go independent (or write in, or stay home/not vote). I hope a lot of those learned their lesson, and hope Hillary’s warning will put people more on guard. But we’ve had three years of obstruction instead of getting Congress to really figure out how to get propaganda out of social media.
I feel so badly for you, too, and the shitshow of Boris Johnson and Brexit.
I am in a pit of Brexit despair. The WAB will pass eventually, probably sooner rather than later, and it is an awful piece of legislation. Johnson has taken out a clause protecting workers' rights and environmental protections. These were so hard won. He wants to deregulate the economy. We'll become a Singapore on the edge of Europe and I can't bear it.
People do not know what voting for this will mean. A lot of uninformed voters think that passing this Bill will mean Brexit is done and it's all over. In fact, it's only the start because of the trade agreements that will have to be negotiated. It will take years. I could weep. I have wept, in fact. And I fear an early election will return a a stronger Conservative government and things will get worse.
There was one glimmer of political light yesterday though ... the clips of Trump being roundly booed at the baseball. Life outside the MAGA Rally bubble!
