VOID COURIER

is a 3rd Person 3D spaceship simulator. You’re Shaan-Da, gig worker pilot, delivering whatever to whomever—on pain of death! The company rents the ship to you at a swiftly accruing rate, and parcels delivered offset your debt. Failure to pay off your debt quickly enough results in a fail state (they remotely shut off the oxygen in the ship).

HOW TO PLAY:

Press SPACE to rocket out of planets' orbits.

Use the DIRECTIONAL KEYS to steer.

Jump between planets to pick up and drop off parcels.

This was very fun to play and I did not realize how quickly 30 mins passed! Incredible job. The dialogue was witty and funny, the music and sound design was spot on. The art was also quite nice. The movement of the spaceship around orbit was not exactly as expected initially, but once I got a hang of it, it became very fun! (You would expect the spaceship to go at the tangent of the orbit but that’s probably just a nitpick.) Talking of nitpicks, here was noticeable silence when the soundtrack ended.

Great game overall. Will you and the team be working on a longer version?

Due to it being a jam game, we never got back round tweeking things like bouncing off the orbit properly adding extra game feel. We also had other story elements written that we didn't have time to implement. We probably wont come back to this, but it's okay to say it was made in a few days; and I wasted a day+ trying to make it in first person. Thanks for playing.

Genuinely the most fun game i've played as a part of this game jam. I really think that if you released this as a full game, particularly on mobile, you could reach good success! Incredible job!

Thanks, glad you found it fun
